Today was a pretty good day. We started at the Typhoon Lagoon, One of Disney's three water parks. I took my water camera, but haven't gotten the film developed yet. |
After we left Typhoon, we went on a quest
to the ultimate question: What is the true purpose of
Walt Disney World? Is it to inspire young minds? Nah. Is
it to salute the imaginations of people everywhere? No.
It is... MERCHANDISING! We went to the Village Marketplace, which is a group of gift shops. The new World of Disney is the biggest Disney store anywhere. They have a room for jewelry, a room for stuffed toys (pictured), even a room for sleepwear! |

At 6:45, we arrived at the Fort Wilderness lodge for our 7:30 reservations at the "Hoop-De-Doo Muscial Revue". We went to a petting zoo nearby, and Josh got to pet a lot of animals. Since goats were the main animals there, Lea was a very valuable resource (her parents raise goats). More picutres on BONUS DAYS!
The Hoop-De-Doo was excellent. All you can eat chicken, ribs, corn, beans, and strawberry shortcake with a show. We has a really good time.
My tangent for the day: The bus system here is nuts! Usually it is straightforward, but to get back from Fort Wilderness, we had to take three buses and a monrail ride! Whatever one bus driver said, another contradicted him! |
