About Me?

What should I say 'bout myself? Well, let's start from what I'm doing now. I'm currently studying for master degree in Hiroshima University, Japan. This is one of my biggest dream in my life, to continue my study in Japan. The school I'm now studying at is called IDEC (Graduate School for International Development and Cooperation). You can access its homepage from the links menu left. Also, I'm collecting all the pictures I took here. You can see them all from the photo album menu left.

The school fee and life support fee is totaly free, because I got scholarship from Monbusho (Japanese Ministry of Education & Culture). If you want to know more about my study, please go on my study menu left.

Before coming to Japan, I was working for a Japanese manufacturing company called PT A&K Door Indonesia in Jakarta as the office manager. I worked there for one year and three months (October 1999-January 2001). Abe Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha is the parent company in Shinjuku, Japan.

After graduated from University of Indonesia, I straight worked for Indonesian shipping company for three months (July-October 1999). It is called PT Samudera Indonesia as a Treasury staff.

Working is such a great experience for me, but before entering the complexity of our society, I was studying Accounting at University of Indonesia, Faculty of Economics for 4 and a half years.

During my school day in University, I joined an international student association called AIESEC (International student association for students who interested in economy and business). Soon, I got involved in some activities related to international exchange programs. Students from AIESEC Keio University Japan came several times to Indonesia. I got a chance as a traineeship in Keizai Koho Center for three months in Tokyo. To know more about the exchange programs, please go on the berangkat menu left.

I remember my first encounter with Japanese language is when I saw Japanese drama on Indonesian TV in January 1995. Tokyo Love Story. It has gave me so much spirits to study Japanese and learn more about Japan and Japanese. I continued my Japanese study at Japan Foundation, Summitmas building in Jakarta for 2 years.

I can't remember much my high school days. But it was the most fun thing in my life. Until now, I always hang around with my high school friends. Here are my high school friends, they are all my best friends. Some of them are not pictured here.

Though we are separated away, doing different things in different location and time, we keep contacting each other and hang around on weekend if possible. We established our own mailing list [friends90] and a homepage is under construction (maybe always under construction, huh?). :)

I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. One of my sisters passed away 2 weeks before I left for Japan to study. My mother passed away when I was in the first year of high school. I lost two important persons in my life, my mother and my sister. But life goes on...

Well, enough to say about myself. I will update my homepage when necessary. Please don't forget to sign guestbook after visiting. Thanks you!
