May 5th, 2001 There is a huge flower festival in Hiroshima City called Hiroshima Flower Festival 2001. I went there yesterday and visit Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Museum. We can see historical pictures in the museum when Hiroshima was hit by atomic bomb.
April 23rd, 2001 I was excited when my Japanese friends, Daisuke and Mayumi invited me to come to their wedding ceremony and reception. More over, they sent me a roundtrip airplane ticket Hiroshima-Tokyo! It was my first experience to see Japanese style wedding ceremony and reception. They choose the modern style of wedding. April 14th, 2001 Lots of things to do now, since the school has begun. Attending classes while preparing research proposal is everyday activities now. Also, I will go to Japanese school in faculty of education, and English school. Starting from today, I will do part-time to help one of Professor here for a week. ...and I just moved to new apartment! The apartment is belong to local city government, so the rent is cheaper than private apartment. I was lucky to get one unit there. My room is located in the 8th floor of the building and I'm using motorbike to go to school. Please welcome to my apartment, you can visit it right away in photo album number 12. April 7th, 2001 Spring has come! I like spring because it is not cold as winter and it is not hot as summer. The weather is just right. This afternoon, I went to Kagamiyama Garden near campus for a walk. Looking at beautiful cherry blossoms. Sakura trees is everywhere and they are beautiful!
April 3rd, 2001 Today, I went to the entrance ceremony and joined orientation for new students. It started from 11 o'clock and lasted only for 30 minutes.
March 28th, 2001 I just updated about me and curriculum vitae menu. my work and my study are still under construction. Please wait a bit longer. :-) March 23rd, 2001 Graduation day in Hiroshima University. I went there and felt the way Japanese people celebrate their graduation. Japanese girls were in kimono style.
March 22nd, 2001 I just returned from Fukuoka yesterday. It was a great trip. You can see my trip pictures in my photo album.
