A Day in the Country
There have been

nature lovers visit this country.

Sometimes we go out into the country to learn about nature. We have been out riding horses and visiting farms. At the Ashton Farms we saw pigs, chickens, goats, ducks, horses, donkeys, dogs, sheep and so much more, but wear your boots. It gets messy on a farm.


		I never miss a chance to ride a horse even if it is a little pony. This pony was at the Piney Woods Festival held in Hugh McRae Park. I ride all by myself and mom or dad walk beside me. Mommie is carrying my little sister in her tummy.
Here we are at Ashton Farms with a group from MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). See Breezy and I are wearing boots. Cant be to careful out here. Ok,Mom, enough of the dogs, lets go see the animals.
Mommie is buying our fruits and vegetables from a roadside stand. I hope she got us a watermelon. We are lucky to have so many of these as well as people selling shrimp at every intersection.
		I love the horses, but an hour on horseback can really wear a girl out. This is at Countryside Stables just outside the town of Burgaw.

There is so much more you can do for fun in the country. There are heyrides and walks in the woods. There is alot of wilderness just a few miles out of town.
