This site was born as an Internet venue for Italian ships's doctors, as in the loose community of ship's doctors around the world they probably are the most organized, thanks to the existence of an official register maintained by the Italian Government. On the other hand, whoever you are and wherever you live and work, if you have anything to say (comments, proposals, information, news, etc.) your contributions will be appreciated, as we aim at widening the scope of this site, in order to make it a venue for all the world's ship's doctors. Translations will not be provided, but contributions in either English, French, Spanish, German, or Italian will be accepted and published.
