Sunset over the Indian Ocean from Western Australia.
The Mighty Lemon prepares for lift off. Pete, Karen, Steve and the Lemon in the backyard of the Globe Hostel in Perth about to set off on an epic journey only half of us would survive.
Me at the Pinnacles Desert, Nambung National Park, WA.
Shadowplay at the Pinnacles. A really cool idea for a shot - cheers Pete.
The Gang, the moon and the rocks just before sundown at the Pinnacles. As the can see the Pinnacles produced more favorite shots then anywhere else so far. The light out there is magical.
In the running for my all time favorite shot...and yes it did look exactly like that.
Natures Window viewpoint in Kalbarrie National Park. I can't even describe the kind of heat in the Park that day, it must have been at least 40 degrees. We spent most of our time there in the River, having very quickly abandoned any plans for some serious walking.
Coastal Gorges, these are part of Kalbarrie National Park in WA. Georgeous!
Here's me with the Lemon in Kalbarrie town. This was typical of the sort of sun-splitting-the-rocks days we had at the start of the trip.
The Early morning dolpin spotting line in Monkey Mia, Shark Bay, WA. The wild dolpins have been coming close to shore for quite some years now and the place gets enough tourists to support a small resort. (You don't get to see very much of the dolpins though!)
