The glorious home of many mountain gorillas, the notorious home of many cross border bandits with
a reputation for kidnapping and murdering western tourists of late. Its slightly worrying but I'm
not one to let mortal danger stop me - just don't anyone show this web page to my mum!! Of all the east african countries I'm visiting this is the one I know least about, not that I know very much about any of them. This will be the second country I hit after Kenya . Jinja the source of the river Nile sounds like a cool place to visit. Afer Uganda I swing around the highly malarious Lake Victoria into Tanzania. Sniff...sniff...I never made it to Uganda, damn overland company got scared by a few trucks getting taking hostage...and me after spending 25 quid on the visa... |
