Creamy Cheesecake

This cheesecake is very creamy and easy to prepare. Before we could take a photo of it half of it was gone.

This certainly is some kind of recommendation.

Ingredients - Pastry

375 ml flour

5 tablespoons castor sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

110g butter (melted)

Instructions

Mix dry ingredients. Pour in melted butter and blend. Press into 30-cm diameter fluted pie dish and bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool.

Ingredients - Filling

500 ml cream cheese

1 tin condensed milk

125 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

250 ml whipped cream

Instructions

Beat cream cheese, condensed milk, lemon juice and vanilla essence into whipped cream. Pour into baked case and allow to set overnight.

Ingredients - Topping

Sauce of choice (if desired)

Flaked almonds for sprinkling

Instructions

Drizzle cheesecake with sauce of choice (butterscotch syrup, chocolate, choc-nut or other). Sprinkle generously with toasted flaked almonds.
