Xian
As Chengdu, Xian is a very big city with a lot of noise and traffic. The main attraction is the Terracotta Warriors, which is a tomb of an army of stone warriors. Each warrior is the same size as a normal man, and the expressions on all the warriors varies from soldier to soldier. The army consists of bowmen, light infantry, heavy infantry, generals, second commanders and so on as a real army.
The tomb is considered the 8. Wonder of the world by some people.

Beijing
Capital and the largest city in China with its 14 million inhabitants. The streets are huge and the pollution is really bad. Thought we managed to go around on bikes which was a really a good experience. In Beijing we lived at the Jinghua Hotel south of Tianamen Square, which was a good place for ticket booking, bike renting, tours etc. The staff is not that friendly but it is easy to meet other travellers by the swimming pool at night time.
We went to see the Great Chinese Wall at Hunaghua. The great wall was an amazing experience. The part we walked on was quiet wild because of its location fare out. On that day it was raining so it was slippery and foggy. It was incredible to see how this wall just kept on as long as your eyes could reach. It seems as if it would never end, however we only walked about 5 km. on this part. There is no doubt that I can recommend seeing the Great Wall at this part. For one times sake we were free of Chinese tourists, and the area was so quiet and deserted.
