The Royal Tombs

Hue is a bit of a seedy town which somehow didn't manage to capture our hearts.  The place does have quite a bit of history, though--like the royal tombs, which from what we could gather were a series of attempts at one-upmanship.  Unfortunately you have to negotiate boat rides, motorcycle rides, souvenir peddlers at every turn.  It's still not expensive to see the tombs, and, on some level, they're pretty cool, but the hassle is a bit off-putting.
