Restaurants:  Many different types and prices in all areas; do not hesitate to ask for advice.  In walking distance from the apartment are the following: Chinese, Thai, TexMex, Mussels & fries (typically Belgium), self-service cafeteria, French & Provençal...
Car rental:  Available in Nice airport & city, Cagnes sur Mer, Cannes...
Shopping:  Commodities walking distance from studio, major mall in St. Laurent du Var (between Nice and Cagnes sur Mer), many boutiques selling arts and crafts: Provençal ceramics, glassware, olive wood carvings and paintings from the artists themselves in all the Old Towns and Villages.
Sports/Nature:  Beach/water activities available at all the private beaches, bicycle rental available. Winter sports (starting at 1 hour away: Isola, Andon, Peira Cava, Turini).
Museums:  Nice: Matisse, Chagall, Modern Art, Asian - Antibes: Picasso -Cagnes Village: olives - Biot: glassblowing - and many, many more.
History/Culture:  At every corner, around every bend, tell me in what you are interested and I can advise different itineraries especially to the medieval perched villages such as: Eze, St.Paul, Vence, Gathières, etc.
