Some Nepal-related travel and adventure books:
Annapurna, by Maurice Herzog, leader of the first successful summit of an 8000m peak in 1950. He pioneered the modern "assault" technique for high peak climbing. Herzog dictated the book to a writer from his hospital bed in Paris.

The Ascent of Rum Doodle, by WE Bowman, is a classic spoof of Herzog's story, but has a disclaimer disavowing any reference to it. Highly recommended that you read Herzog's book first. Both are quick reads--too quick!--available in paperback.

The Snow Leopard, by Peter Matthiessen, a classic book following the author's ostensibly scientific expedition into the restricted Dolpo region, and his quest to see the mythical snow leopard.

Trekking in the Nepal Himalaya, by Stan Armington, a Lonely Planet guide book.

Annapurna Circuit, by Andrew Stevenson, a modern account of a regular dude briefly escaping the American rat race on a 20+ day trek around the Annapurna massif.

There are so many great books on that region, just visit your local library.
