Come Sit With Me
Dangling Your Feet
in the Warmth of my Virtual Cove

Hi there. I'm glad you stopped in and I hope you have some time to explore because there are many places to visit in my "Cove". If this is your first visit, welcome. I hope you continue to return and visit from time to time... and I'd love to hear from you! Below are links to many travel photos accumulated over the years, so sit back and view some great family vacation times.

Our first chronicled trip was to Hawaii, before we began our family. The next trip was to the New England area. When the children came along, we took them to Disneyworld in Florida and by unanimous concensus, the most fun vacation we took was to Disneyworld -- the girls were just entering school. We drove to Orlando from Texas, stopping along the Emerald Coast (panhandle) beaches of Florida. Absolutely awesome water and white sand, comparable with Caribbean and Hawaiian beaches. Another "trip of a lifetime" was a ten-day trip to Alaska in 1997. Alaska has to be the closest thing to heaven on earth. Beautiful, unspoiled, nature at it's finest. And the last trip, to Lake Tahoe, was second only to the scenery of Alaska. Breathtaking, the magnitude brought tears to my eyes. Enjoy the view through my camera's shutter.

In each of the frames above, I've tried to include travel tips and hints, places of interest, as well as highlight the beauty of what we enjoyed at each destination. In planning trips for pleasure as well as business, I've worked with many travel agents and they've always been a tremendous help (and earn their commissions too)! However I've found booking air fares over the internet websites of the airline can actually save you money and net you extra frequent flier miles! I've added a travel link to some excellent sites I've found that are wonderful resources.

Happiness is not having what you want.
Rather wanting what you have.

Sending Blessings Your Way

In addition to travels, I've tried to make this site one that expresses my interests and might be useful to you. In this endeavor, I've included my thoughts (some I've collected ~ some original), the importance of dreams (a place where shared experiences enrich all concerned) and highlight the places I've visited that I found both useful, entertaining or simply uplifting.

will forget what you said
They will forget what you did
but
They will never forget the way you made them FEEL

Locks Of Love

Lots of fun places to play on my GAMES page. I've just added this little voting booth why not take the time to leave your vote. Everyone has an opinion, right?

Here are some outstanding places I enjoy visiting. I love to read and have created a cozy library setting for you to snuggle up with a book or toy with interactive stories. If you need to shop for flowers, ProFlowers are shipped straight from the flower farm to your home. I received roses from them and they were GORGEOUS and stayed fresh for an entire two weeks. Prices extremely reasonable, too. The very bestest cardsite, quite different from 'all the rest' Alternative Greetings from Nervous Nelly. Funniest cartoons (for those of us with a 'warped' sense of humor) are at Joe Cartoon. The latest fish bait in the tank is really a HOOT! A new site I found when her dad visited mine, is an awesome page of poetry. If you aren't gifted (like I'm NOT) with the talent of rhyme, I've been blessed to run into a lady online that is so quick to rhyme almost EVERY line, and she would be delighted to work with you on that special poem. Visit her site and contact Debi for an original poem to fit your special occasion.

Words can never adequately convey the incredible impact of our attitude toward life. The longer I live the more convinced I become that life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90 percent how we respond to it.

I believe the single most significant decision I can make on a day~to~day basis is my choice of attitude. It is more important than my past, my education, my bankroll, my successes or failures, fame or pain, what other people think of me or say about me, my circumstances, or my position. Attitude keeps me going or cripples my progress. It alone fuels my fire or assaults my hope. When my attitudes are right, there is no barrier too high, no valley to deep, no dream too extreme, no challenge too great for me.

A lot of effort goes into creating a webpage and I am continually adding to and changing things here. This page is a labour of love and contains a glimpse of many happy memories. I began playing around with HTML at the office when my boss decided the company needed a webpage and I stayed up many late nights figuring out "how to make things work"; this page has evolved and continues to grow as I learn and explore. It is my hope you have found something entertaining, worthwhile and useful within my pages, and if so, please pass them along to your friends. If you link to my page(s), please send me a note.
