The Black Sea Coast

Sinop The Black Sea Coast is cooler, greener, cheaper and more quiet than other coastal areas in Turkey. Sinop is a nice place to stay for a traveler that want to see a different part of Turkey. Sinop has plenty of cheap hotels and good restaurants.

A day at the sea with a local fisherman. Many of the local fishermen hire out their boats for a daytrip. Bring your own lunch and wine, and go for a trip around the green and beautiful Sinop peninsula.
The fishermen have all kinds of fishing gear, and the sea is full of small fish.

Up in the mountain villages We rented a Taxi for a day and drove along the coast west of Sinop. When the taxidriver saw the road up the the village he stopped the taxi. A villager had to take us up the last part of the road.
