Welcome to my Music page... here is where I'll show you some cool stuff that you can do on your computer with music, and I'll give some info on the bands that I like...

MPEG 3 Audio...

Well to start off, MPEG 3 is an audio format that's like a WAV File, it produces sound in nice quality sound (if you have a fast enough computer). The cool thing about MPEG 3 is the compression that it uses, a MP3 file is ten times less in size than a WAV file. So, where can you use this stuff you ask? Currently, I know of two MPEG 3 players that are worth downloading, which are Winplay 3, and Winamp... Winplay is a standard MPEG 3 player, which gives clean sounding audio, best if you are running on a slower machine. While Winamp is like Winplay with a few extra features, and a nicer looking interface, PLUS.. it's FREE! Click on which player you would like to download below:

Ben Folds Five...

Ben Folds Five (BFF) is a cool band that I have listened to lately. It's not just the average band due to the fact that the band is made of only a piano, a bass guitar, and of course.. drums. This band started off in Chapel Hill, NC.. I think they might have started at UNC... which still isn't too far from where I live... This band will make you wanna dance or something.. ;) I'm sure that you'd like this band. The only name of a song that I know by them is, (although I've heard like 3-4):

Smashing Pumpkins...

Ah, well if you haven't heard of Smashing Pumpkins yet, then you must live in a hole or something.. ;) When they were 1st introduced, I didn't like them too much, but I had a friend that went to one of their Concerts and got a Collectable Smashing Pumpkins T-Shirt.. then she lost it.. :) go figure.. But later on, I learned to like the Smashing Pumpkins. You should too, they are the band that sings that song of the soundtrack from Batman and Robin, I know you've heard it. Other songs that they are famous for are:

- The end is the Beginning is the End

Cake...

Cake is another cool band that I like, they are kinda old now, But I still dont mind popping in one of their CD's every now and then. This band is very humorous, and will keep you laughing in every CD they make, especially their first CD, which is weird, but will leave you with the giggles. This is another band that's different than most, it's songs have a laid back style to them and they also use a trumpet and an organ to add some different twists to rock music. Some kewl songs by Cake are as follows:

Alice in Chains

This is a heavy band that actually sings, and doesnt just scream during all their songs.. I like to listen to this band when I'm mad or something.. ;) Hehe, if ya see me driving down the road with some Alice in Chains playing, you'd better watch out.. :) This band is getting kinda old too, but I'm sure that a new CD from them will but them back on the charts again.. They are known for some songs such as:
