Who was your trainer?

Chinook, best advice I got from him about hosting…….if a tourney is starting to get to you, you are going to lose it, shut your monitor off for 5 minutes, when you turn it back on you will be the calmest person in the room :)

Why did you become a host?
|
I was going to start hosting tourneys on Pogo & was introduced to Zone, played here for a few months & decided to host here. I do enjoy playing but also no that if there are no hosts there are no tourneys. (Automated tourneys are not real tourneys & do not have the personal touch.)

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you while hosting?
|
Power failure, called Marcar (Icey) no power there either, called Tidalwave to cover, 2 days later we had power again (black out of 2003)

My part of the world is in a constant state of change, apple orchards changed to apartment buildings
All farm land will soon be housing, we need to learn you cant grow food on roads, not sure if this is progress

What do you enjoy doing besides backgammon?
|
I like to complete sets, (What the heck does that mean?)
I collect everything, always trying to complete sets, be it stamps, coins, licence plates…

There is all kinds of things I would like to share with friends on LG
I will enjoy telling them, all they have to do is come to the room early when I host, would be nice if we had some chat till fill that 30 minutes before the tourney starts, would be nice to have to tell people to shut it for the rules, (note the hint *wink, don’t wait till last minute to play, LG was made on friendships, friendships are made from chat)
