the light, and becomes a safety activist, and soon goes after the

There's No Disgrace Like Home (7G04): After seeing family
bliss at the recent family picnic, Homer sells the TV and goes to

Bart the General (7G05): When Bart gets beat up by the
school bully for defending Lisa, he organizes his friends to go

the problems around her, and meets a fellow blues musician, Bleedin'
Gums Murphy. [Aired February 11, 1990]
"The Telltale Head'' (7G07): In order to impress some bad
kids at school, Bart cuts off the head of a statue of the town's
founder, Jebediah Obediah Zacariah Jenadiah Springfield. Unfortunately,
this stunt shocks the whole town. [Aired February 25, 1990] NOTES:
Krusty The Clown has cameo, however, picture only can be seen in
"Homer's Odyssey" and title sequence. Sideshow Bob can also be seen.
Reverend Lovejoy is introduced.
"The Simpsons Christmas Special'' (AKA: Simpson's Roasting
on a Open Fire)(7G08): It's a not-so-merry Christmas for the
Simpsons, when Mr. Burns decides to cut the Christmas bonuses and
Marge had to spend the Christmas savings to erase a tattoo Bart
thought would make a great Christmas present. In order to hide the
fact that he did not get the bonus, Homer takes a second job as
a store Santa. [Aired December 17, 1989] NOTES: Patty, and Selma
are introduced, and Santa's Little Helper joins the family. Ned
and Todd Flanders, the Simpson's next door neighbors, are introduced.

Call of the Simpsons (7G09): It's a camping misadventure
for the Simpsons. First, the Simpson's get lost in the woods and
lose all their camping equipment. Then, Bart and Homer go get help,
but get washed down a waterfall, and lose all their clothes. Meanwhile,
Maggie meets up with some bears. Then, Homer is mistaken for Big
Foot. [Aired February 18, 1990]
Homer's Night Out (7G10): Using his new mail-order spy
camera, Bart catches Homer dancing with a strip dancer at a ``stag''

Jacques to be Wild (AKA: Life In The Fast Lane) (7G11):
Homer gives Marge a bowling ball for her birthday, intending to
use it for himself. However, Marge vows to learn how to bowl, and
ends up getting intimate with Jacques, her bowling teacher. [Aired

Krusty Gets Busted (7G12): When Krusty the Klown is caught
robbing the Kwik-E-Mart, Bart vows to clear his hero's name, even

The Crepes of Wrath (7G13): After flushing a cherry bomb
down the school toilet, Bart is sent to France via a student exchange,
and ends up working for some crooks who want to put anti-freeze

house: ïBad Dream House - The Simpsons move into a haunted house,

burial ground. ïHungry Are The Damned - Aliens kidnap the Simpsons,
and invite them to a `great feast' on Rigel 4. ïThe Raven - James
Earl Jones narrates Edgar Allen Poe's classic tale starring the

Dancin' Homer (7F05): After helping the Springfield Isotopes
win a game, ``Dancin' Homer'' becomes the team mascot, and the family

Bart the Daredevil (7F06): Bart embarks on a life of death-defying

B.C., Moses received the ten commandments from God, among which
was ``Thou Shalt Not Steal.'' In present day Springfield, Homer

Bart's Dog Gets An F (7F14): After chewing up Homer's new
$125 sneakers and the Bouvier family quilt, Santa's Little Helper

Principal Charming (7F15): Homer sets up a date between
Principal Skinner and Marge's sister, Selma. However, it ends up

Simpson tells Homer that he has a half-brother. This half-brother,
Herbert Powell, is a carmaker in Detroit, and wants Homer to design
a car for the average man to save his car company. [Aired February

Old Money (7F17): When Abraham ``Grandpa'' Simpson inherits
one hundred six thousand dollars from his deceased sweetie, he decides

problem, Marge takes up painting, a skill which she gave up due

Lisa's Substitute (7F19): Lisa's regular teacher falls

War Of The Simpsons (7F20): After being embarrassed by
Homer during a house party, Marge signs up for Reverend Lovejoy's

is Grandpa Simpson. [Aired May 2, 1991]
Three Men and a Comic Book (7F21): In order to earn enough
money to purchase the very first ``Radioactive Man'' comic book
(valued at $100), Bart takes a part time job with a neighbor. However,
after discovering that working is for chumps, Bart enters into a
partnership with Martin and Milhouse. [Aired May 9, 1991]
Blood Feud (7F22): Mr. Burns needs double-O negative blood,
and only Bart can supply it. Now, Homer wants some gratitude for
Bart's donation. [Aired July 11, 1991]

When Flanders Failed (7F23): Ned Flanders quits his regular
job and announces at a barbecue that he is opening a mall store
catering to lefties. Homer, however, wishes that Flanders would
fail. [Aired October 3, 1991]
Stark Raving Dad (7F24): Thanks to Bart leaving his lucky
red hat in the load of washed white shirts, Homer wears a pink shirt
to the nuclear power plant. He is promptly committed to a mental
institution, where he meets up with a white man who walks and talks
like Michael Jackson. [Aired September 19, 1991] NOTE: Michael Jackson

Mr Lisa Goes To Washington (8F01): Thanks to Lisa's patriotic
and winning essay in a Reading Digest contest, the Simpsons win
a trip to Washington DC. However, Lisa's faith in democracy is shaken
when she sees her local representative taking a bribe for a permit
to cut down Springfield National Forest. [Aired September 26, 1991]
``The Simpsons Halloween Special II'' (aka Treehouse of Horror
II) (8F02): In the sequel to the original Treehouse of Horror,
three more tales of horror. Lisa, Bart, and Homer eat too much candy,
and end up having nightmares...: ïThe Monkey's Paw - The Simpsons,
on a foreign trip, pick up a monkey's paw that gives the holder
four wishes . . . with bad side effects. ïBart The Monster - In
a parody of a classic Twilight Zone episode, everyone in Springfield
must be happy or else something will happen to them by a monster.
The monster is known as . . . Bart Simpson, the kid with the mental
powers. ïHomer's Brain - Homer gets randomly fired from the nuclear
power plant, and gets hired as a gravedigger. He falls asleep in
the grave, and gets picked up by Mr. Burns for a cyborg experiment.

Bart The Murderer (8F03): After having a very lousy day
of school, Bart accidentally stumbles into ``The Legitimate Businessman
Social Club'', a mobster front. He becomes a bartender, but when
he shows up late at work and blames Principal Skinner, Skinner disappears.

Homer Defined (8F04): When Homer accidentally saved two
nuclear plants, he becomes a hero, and is admired by his daughter,
Lisa. [Aired October 17, 1991] NOTE: Magic Johnson voices as himself.
Like Father, Like Clown (8F05): Krusty finally drops by
to have dinner with the Simpsons to thank Bart for believing him
(see ``Krusty Gets Busted''), and drops a bombshell: He real name
is Krustofsky, and he is estranged from his rabbi father, who disowned
him when Krusty decided to be a clown instead of a rabbi. Now, Bart
vows to reunite Klown and rabbi. [Aired October 24, 1991] NOTE:
Jackie Mason is the voice of Rabbi Krustofsky.
Lisa's Pony (8F06): After disappointing Lisa, again, Homer
finally gives Lisa a pony. Now, in desperation to pay off the bills
associated with owning a pony, Homer works the graveyard shift at
Apu's Kwik-E-Mart. [Aired November 7, 1991]
Saturdays of Thunder (8F07): In order to build a father/son
relationship, Homer helps Bart build a soapbox racer. However, when
Martin crashes his racer during the time trials, Bart must make
an important decision: Turn his back on his father and be Martin's
replacement driver, or race in his soapbox and let Nelson win. [Aired
November 14, 1991]
Flaming Moe's (8F08): Homer helps invent the hottest drink
in Springfield. However, when Moe steals the recipe and turns Moe's
Tavern into the hottest spot in Springfield, Homer vows revenge.

left off....The year is 1980, and Homer is working at the local
miniature golfing course, living with Marge's parents, and dating

Radio Bart (8F11): It's Bart's tenth birthday. Bart receives
a radio microphone, which he promptly uses to play practical jokes
on everyone, including that a little boy named Timmy O'Toole has
fallen down the local well. [Aired January 9, 1992] NOTE: Sting
guest voices as himself with a song titled ``We're Sending Our Love
Down The Well''.
Lisa the Greek (8F12): Lisa's football predicting skills
brings about a closer relationship between Homer and Lisa, not to
mention making Moe broke, until Lisa realizes that the relationship
may end with the Super Bowl. [Aired January 23, 1992] [repeats of

Homer at the Bat (8F13): Mr. Burns bets $1,000,000 that
his company team can beat a competing plant's team. In order to
do so, he replaced the regular company team with new security guard
Roger Clemens, new janitor Wade Boggs, lunchroom cashier Ken Griffey
Jr., and other new employees like Steve Sax, Don Mattingly, Ozzie
Smith, Jose Canseco, and Mike Scoscia (who runs the solid contaminate
encapsulator. [Aired February 20, 1992]
Homer Alone (8F14): When the family causes Marge to flip
out, she takes a vacation from it all at Rancho Relaxo, leaving
Lisa and Bart with Patty and Selma (shudder), and Homer alone with
Maggie. Then, Maggie goes searching for Marge. [Aired February 6,

Separate Vocations (8F15): After taking the Career Aptitude
Normalization Test, or CANT test, Lisa finds out she's more suited
to be a homemaker, while Bart is more suited to be a police officer.
While Bart enjoys his taste of authority, Lisa turns into a bad

Bart the Lover (8F16): He has the name of the 23rd president,

Dog of Death (8F17): When Santa's Little Helper suffers

Colonel Homer (8F19): After a particularly bad movie experience,
Homer drives to a bar where he discovers a singer named Lurleen

Selma. However, Bart suspects that Sideshow Bob has something else

The Otto Show (8F21): Otto loses his job driving the school

after being kicked out of his apartment, goes to live with the Simpsons.

Bart's Friend Falls In Love (8F22): Bart and Milhouse enter
the age of cooties, when Milhouse dates a new girl... without her
father knowing it. Meanwhile, Homer tries to lose weight by listening

Brother, Can You Spare Two Dimes? (8F23): Herbert Powell
returns, and asks the Simpsons help for an invention idea of his,
using the money Homer received from the nuclear plant for some bogus

Homer the Heretic (9F01): Homer, in a dream, gets permission
from God to skip church, much to Marge's objections. [Aired October

Lisa the Beauty Queen (9F02): Homer enters Lisa in a beauty
contest, and Lisa comes in as runner up. However, when the original
winner is injured, Lisa becomes ``Little Miss Springfield''. Bob

Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie (9F03): When Bart fails to
keeps an eye on Maggie and puts her life in danger, Homer finally
puts his foot down on Bart's mischief by passing the ultimate punishment:

Treehouse of Horror III (9F04): The Simpsons hold a Halloween
Party, in which three stories are exchanged: ïClown Without Pity

Kong Klone. ïDial 'Z' For Zombies - After being assigned to read
a another book, Bart picks out an item from the occult section,

Marge Gets a Job (9F05): The Simpsons home needs about
$8,000 worth of foundation work, so Marge gets a job at the Springfield
Nuclear Power Plant. However, things start getting a bit sticky

New Kid on the Block (9F06): Bart develops a crush on the
new girl next door, but his heart is broken when she dates Jimbo.

those fatty foods has caused Homer to have a heart attack. Now,

Marge vs. the Monorail (9F10): After getting $3 million
from a fine due to Mr. Burn's illegal disposal of nuclear waste,
the town decides to spend money on a needless monorail....built

Selma's Choice (9F11): After aunt Gladys Bouvier dies,
Selma decided to try and get married and have a child. [Aired January

is fair play, Homer replaces Bart with a little brother. Meanwhile,
Lisa becomes addicted to the Corey hot-line, a 900 number. [Aired

I Love Lisa (9F13): Lisa's valentine to the most disliked

Duffless (9F14): After Homer gets caught drunk driving,

back the town's beloved Lemon tree when it is stolen by a group

Who Shot Mr. Burns? - Part One (2F16): It's bad enough
that Mr. Burns steals the newly discovered oil under Springfield
Elementary, but it's going too far when he steals the town's sunshine.
He is shot and everyone wonders who did the dirty deed. Tito Puenta

RADIOACTIVE MAN THE MOVIE (2F17): While browsing at a local
comic shop, Bart and Milhouse learn that Hollywood producers plan
a big budget feature film based on the popular "Radioactive Man"
comic books. As luck would have it, the film's producers choose
Springfield as the best place to shoot the picture. Auditions are
held in an effort to find a local youngster to play the coveted
role of Fallout Boy, Radioactive Man's trusted sidekick. Bart immediately
begins rehearsing for the role. He gives a brilliant reading at
his audition, but loses the part when producers feel he is too short.
Instead of using Bart, the producers pick Milhouse.
WHO SHOT MR. BURNS PART TWO (2F20): Smithers awakens one morning
with a severe hangover. He recounts events leading up to the Burns'
shooting outside Town Hall, and concludes it was he who pulled the
trigger during a drunken rampage. Wracked by guilt, he decides to
purge his feelings by confessing to a priest. But the confession
booth turns out to be a police trap, and Wiggum takes his suspect
into custody. Word of the arrest makes media headlines. Sideshow
Mel reviews the facts, however, and concludes that the police have
arrested the wrong man. He reminds Smithers that at the time of
the murder he was at home watching the television show "Pardon My
Zinger." Smithers realizes that he did not shoot Mr. Burns after
all, but fired a shot into Jasper's wooden leg after the old man
refused to get out of his way. Police release Smithers, but the
question as to who shot Mr. Burns remains a mystery. Wiggum asks
Dr. Hibbert to remove the bullet from Mr. Burns' chest so a ballistics
lab can have it analyzed. Meanwhile, Lisa approaches Wiggum with
a list of all possible suspects, hoping it will help solve the case.
Police interrogate everyone on the list but come up empty-handed.
Lisa the suggests to police that Burns' clothing be examined for
possible clues. Technicians examine the suit Burns was wearing and
discover an eyelash clinging to the fabric. D.N.A. from the eyelash
is matched to the Simpson family bloodline, indicating that Homer
is the prime suspect. Police search Homer's car and discover a gun
hidden beneath the driver's seat covered with Homer's fingerprints.
Meanwhile, Burns regains semi-consciousness and utters Homer's name.
Believing Burns is identifying his attacker, and armed with the
additional evidence, police arrest Homer and charge him with the
attack. But the paddy wagon that transports Homer to jail overturns.
Homer escapes and sneaks into the hospital where Burns is recuperating.
In a demented rage, Homer advances on his accuser. Lisa races to
the hospital in an effort to save her father from being shot by

HOME SWEET HOME-DUM-DIDDLY DOODILY (3F01): Marge and Homer go
out on the town for the day leaving everything behind, but when
a social worker comes to visit the Simpson's house to find it a
wreck they declare Marge and Homer unfit parents and Bart, Lisa,
and Maggie are shipped off to a foster home - FLANDER'S HOUSE. Marge
and Homer must prove to the city that they are fit parents in order
to get their children back.
BART SELLS HIS SOUL (3F02): Bart and Milhouse play a practical
joke at church and end up getting caught and hauled into Reverend
Lovejoy's office. Milhouse freaks because he believes that now his
soul will burn in hell. Bart laughs it off and even offers to sell
Milhouse his soul in order to prove that there is nothing to them.
Milhouse takes Bart up his offer, offering him 5 bucks for his soul.
Lisa is mortified and tries to prove to Bart that a soul truly exists.
LISA THE VEGETARIAN (3F03): When the Simpsons take maggie
to Story Town Village Lisa falls in love with a little lamb and
decides to become a vegetarian, but when Homer throws the neighborhood's
largest barbecue, Lisa is determined to ruin it by taking Homer's
pig. (Paul McCartney sings over end-credits)
HALLOWEEN VI (3F04): In a parody of horror films The Simpsons

the town

Homer 3 - Homer gets sucked into a black hole (ala "Stargate"; 3-D,

KING SIZE HOMER (3F05): Homer discovers that he can claim
disability and work at home if he weighs over 300pounds. He manages
to gain the weight but soon finds out he has no self motivation
to work. The plant begins to suffer and Homer must get himself back
into shape so that he can return to work.
MOTHER SIMPSON (3F06): After Homer fakes his death to get
out of some road clean up work, Homer is shocked when his mother
returns to Springfield, but there is something strange when mother
Simpson ducks in the house to avoid a police car, and when bart
found a bunch of fake Ids in her purse. When confronted mother Simpson
tell all, how she help blow up Mr. Burns Germ factory, and has been
on the run ever since.
BART THE SHOPLIFTER (3F07): ( aka Marge Be Not Proud) Bart
is determined to do anything to get a video game, accused of shoplifting
and panics when Marge plans a family portrait at the same store.

SIDESHOW BOB'S LAST GLEAMING (3F08): Homer freaks out when
Sideshow Bob steals a Nuclear Bomb and threatens to blow up Springfield
if everyone does not get rid of their television. [Aired November

TWO BAD NEIGHBORS (3F09): Homer is envious when former
President Bush moves next door and takes the neighborhood by storm.
When President Bush gives Bart a spanking for destroying his memoirs,
Homer is determined that Bush apologize, but when he refuses, Homer
and Bush go in all out war. After President Bush moves away President
Ford moves in. [Aired January 14, 1996]
TEAM HOMER (3F10): Mr. Burns forces his way onto Homer's
newly formed bowling league, the pin pals, after finding out that
Homer got the money from Mr. Burns when he was drugged up; Bart
wears a T-shirt that reads down with homework, which incites a riot
at school, which Principal Skinner makes everyone wear uniforms
that turn the whole school into zombies. [Aired January 7, 1996]
SCENES FROM THE CLASS STRUGGLE (3F11): (aka Marge the social
climber) After Grampa breaks the Television, the Simpsons go to
the Ogdenville Outlet Mall, and when Marge buys a Chanel and a woman
from her old high school sees Marge wearing the dress she is asked
to joins Springfield's social elite, but becomes obsessed with maintaining
her new status. Meanwhile Homer plays golf with Mr. Burns, and finds
out Smithers has been cheating for him. [Aired February 4, 1996]
BART THE FINK (3F12): When the Simpsons inherit a hundred
dollars a piece Bart opens a checking account, and writes Krusty
the Klown a check for 25 cents in order to get his autograph, but
when the check returns with a stamp from the Cayman Island instead
of a signature. When Bart goes to the bank to complain, Krusty loses
everything after being audited by the IRS, then dies in a plane

A FISH CALLED SELMA (3F15): When Troy McClure's career
is in the dumps because of a fish obsession, and when he goes out
on a date with Selma to get his license approved with out his glasses,

asks Selma to marry him, but when he asks to have a baby just to
get a part in the new Mcbain movie she decides to leave him. [Aired

THE DAY THE VIOLENCE DIED (3F16): Bart and Lisa find the
real creator of Itch and Scratchy cartoons, Chester J. Lampwick.
When Roger Myers Jr. Must pay for stealing his ideas Roger goes
bankrupt and Itchy and Scratchy gets canceled. Deprived of cartoon
violence, Bar and Lisa crusade to bring Itchy and Scratchy back

BART ON THE ROAD (3F17): When principal Skinner declares
Friday visit your parents work day to save money on his vacation,
Lisa goes to Homer's work and Bart goes to Selma's and Patty's work,
and when Selma leaves the license machine on, Bart makes a fake
one for him self, so he and his friends take a spring break road
trip in a rental car, while Lisa stays home and bonds with Homer.

MUCH AUP ABOUT NOTHING (3F20): When the town of Springfield
wants a bear patrol but do not want to pay the taxes for it, Mayor

Helper for an expensive new dog
THE OLD MAN AND THE LISA (4F17): When some bad investments
forces Mr. Burns to put Burns Manor up for sale, Lisa comes to his
rescue by suggesting that he go into large-scale recycling
IN MARGE WE TRUST (4F18): When Marge discovers that Rev.
Lovejoy has become detached, she volunteers at the church and becomes
an inspirational leader; Homer hilariously finds his likeness on
a box of Japanese detergent
HOMER'S ENEMY (4F19): A new employee clashes with Homer;
Bart buys an abandoned factory
THE SIMPSONS SPIN-OFF SHOWCASE (4F20): "Chief Wiggum, P.I.",
"The Love-Matic Grampa", and "The Simpson Family Goodtime Variety
Hour" - this sounds like a takeoff on how some shows have an episode
that concentrates on a minor (or just-introduced) character, without
showing the stars, in what is really a pilot episode for a new series
THE SECRET WAR OF LISA SIMPSON After Bart is forced to
go to military school, Lisa decides that's the kind of education
she wants to get

THE CITY OF NEW YOURK VS. HOMER SIMPSON (4F22): Barney
serves as a designated driver in New York, and after returning to
Springfield in a limo, Homer learns that Barney parked his car in-between
the two buildings at the World Trade Center. [Aired 21 September
1997].
THE PRINCIPAL AND THE PAUPER (4F23): While her class is
doing a project on the Vietnam memorial wall, Lisa finds Principal
Skinner's name on it as missing in action. When the real Principal
Skinner shows up, the school is shocked that the Skinner they've
known all along is an imposter. [Aired on 28 September 1997]
LISA THE SIMPSON(4F24): Lisa realizes that both Homer and
Bart became lazy at the age of nine and begins to fear that Homer's
lazy gene has been passed on to her, making her next in line. (Was
scheduled for October 5th, but pre-empted)
THE CARTRIDGE FAMILY (5F01): While the family is attending
a soccer game, a riot breaks out which Homer joins. After being
accused of being a bad protector by Marge, a traveling salesman
convinces Homer to buy a gun, an investment that he believes will
prove he can keep the family safe. But when Marge objects, she carts
herself and the kids off to a seedy motel until Homer can come to
his senses. There was a great gag at the end of this episode which
will without a doubt not appear in the show: [Aired on 2 November

TREEHOUSE OF HORROR VIII (5F02): Parodies of "The Fly,"
"The Crucible," and "Omega Man." Interviewed by TV Guide, new executive
producer Mike Scully reveals that one segment is "set in Sprynge-fielde
in 1949 [and] explains how Halloween started, [as] Marge is accused
of witchcraft." [Aired on 26 October 1997]
BART STAR (5F03): When Homer assumes the position of Ned
Flanders' as coach for a pee-wee football team, an inept Bart suddenly
finds himself in the position of team quarterback. Joe Namath has
a cameo. [Aired on 9 November 1997]
THE TWO MRS. NAHASAPEEMAPETILONS (5F04): Apu's bachelorhood
is threatened by an arranged marriage with Manjula (voiced by Jan
Hooks), whom he last saw 20 years ago. In an attempt to help him,
Homer lends Apu his family members to try and convince mother Nahasapeemapetilon
(Andrea Martin) that her son is already married. [Aired on 16 November
1997]
LISA THE SKEPTIC (5F05): Trying to halt the construction
of a new mall on a documented fossil site, Lisa conducts an archeological
survey and finds bones which many believe are the remains of an
angel. When evolutionary expert Gould finds lab results inconclusive,
Lisa and the bones are thrust into the spotlight." [Aired on 23
November 1997]
REALTY BITES (5F06): When Marge becomes a real estate agent,
she unwittingly sells Ned Flanders a house in which somebody had
been murdered. [Aired on 7 December 1997]
MIRACLE ON EVERGREEN TERRACE (5F07): After Bart prematurely
opens all of his Christmas presents, guilt drives him to burry them
in the back yard so that it will look as though the Simpsons were
robbed. But when all of Springfield rallies around them and later
discovers they were duped, the family must redeem themselves with
the townspeople. [Aired 21 December 1997]
BART CARNY (5F08): When the carnival comes to town, Bart
causes some trouble which forces him and Homer to work and pay off
the damage he's caused. But after Homer's idiocy causes two carnies
to lose their stand (which doubles as their home), he promptly offers
them shelter, an offer he will soon regret when they take over his
house. Jim Varney guest voices. [Aired on January 11th 1998
TRASH OF THE TITANS (5F09): With the help of Bono and the
rest of the guys from U2, Homer runs for the sanitation commissioner
of Springfield after getting into a fight with his garbage man.
But his competance is questioned when he spends the annual budget
in one month and sneaks off with Larry and The Edge to Moe's for
a drink during one of Bono's eco-sensitive speeches. (This is planned
to be the 200th Simpsons episode to air on Fox.)
THE LAST TEMPTAION OF KRUST (5F10): It's the Springfield's
Comedy Festival, and next to such stars as Bruce Baum, Janeane Garofalo,
Bobcat Goldthwait, Jay Leno and Steven Wright, Krusty shows that
his comedy style hasn't aged too well with the years. It's now a
new Krusty who walks out of clown business, and becomes a rebel
humorist. But can this man stay away from lucrative endorsements
for long? [Aired on February 22nd]
DAS BUS (5F11): When Milhouse's grapefruit gets in the
way of the brake pedal, Otto drives the school bus into water, taking
the whole school U.N. club with him. Upon washing up on a desert
island, the kids try to make the best out of this situation, but
a thing or two about a beast and cookies will ruin their short-lived
paradise, in a Lord of the Flies scenario. (James Earl Jones narrates
the story.) Meanwhile, safe at home, Homer finally jumps into the
bandwagon and joins the crowd, starting his own Internet business.
Of course, having a clue about what the Internet is would be helpful...

DUMBBELL INDEMNITY (5F12): Poor Moe looks back at all his
years of loneliness, and decides it's time for him to go out and
date again. Things don't work out so good for our sweaty bartender,
until fate presents him to Renee (voiced by Helen Hunt), a florist
that happens to find his rude character rather charming. But impressing
a girl doesn't come cheap these days, and when money is short, you
can always count on a good friend like Homer to pull up an insurance
scam. Unless he gets caught... [Aired on March 1st]
LISA THE SIMPSON After having trouble trying to solve a
brainteaser and other mounting evidence, Lisa fears that the Simpson
gene, Grampa has told her about, is afflicting her. Meanwhile, Grampa's
friend Jasper places himself in suspended animation in Apu's freezer.
Jasper wants to see the future. Seeing an opportunity to make money,
Apu turns the KWIK-E-MART into a FREAK-E-MART. [Aired on March 8,
1998]
THIS LITTLE WIGGY (5F13): Marge decides the one thing Ralph
Wiggum could use is a friend, so she insists that Bart become his
friend. Bart is reluctant to go along with it, until he discovers
that Chief Wiggum has a key that will unlock every door in Springfield.
Once the key is in Bart's possession, he and Ralph spend time exploring
Springfield late at night including a trip into the old prison.

SIMPSON TIDE (3G04): Homer gets fired from the nuclear
plant. He decides to join the Naval reserve. Because of his nuclear
experience, he is assigned to a nuclear submarine for a war games
exercise. When the captain leaves Homer in charge and is later incapacitated,
look out. Meanwhile, Milhouse gets an earring. [Aired March 29,
1998]
THE TROUBLE WITH TRILLIONS (5F14): When the IRS subjects
Homer to an audit, they agree to let Homer off if he will agree
to help the FBI. Homer is supposed to help them recover a trillion-dollar
bill that they believe is in the possession of C. Montgomery Burns.
Instead Homer and Smithers help Burns to escape the country, where
they try to buy Cuba from Castro. [Aired April 5, 1998]
GIRLIE EDITION (5F15): Lisa becomes anchor for a new news
program for kids, with help from Bart, Nelson and Milhouse. Bart's
on camera presence gets him upgraded to co-anchor. After he overhears
his sister calling him stupid, Bart seeks some advice from Kent
Brockman on how to be an anchor. He follows Brockman's advice and
begins covering human interest stories that make him popular and
Lisa jealous. [Aired April 19, 1998]
TRASH OF THE TITANS After having a run-in with the garbage
men, Homer decides to run for Sanitation Commissioner. His campaign
antics include interrupting a U2 concert. He wins the election by
landslide based upon his campaign slogan: "Can't someone else do
it?" Once elected he blows the year's budget in month by buying
new trucks, uniforms, etc. To make up the deficit, he allows other
cities to dump their garbage in an old abandoned mine. The mineshaft
isn't bottomless, something has got to give and it does. [Aired
April 26, 1998]
KING OF THE HILL (5F16): When Bart is disappointed with
Homer's peformance in a game held at the church picnic, Homer begins
working out late at night to get into shape. He begins to eat Powersauce
bars and works out with Rainer Wolfcastle. When even Wolfcastle
won't meet the challenge of the "Murderhorn," the tallest mountain
in Springfield, Bart volunteers Homer for the job. Not wanting to
disappoint Bart again, Homer goes for it. [Aired May 3, 1998]
LOST OUR LISA With the day off from school, Bart uses some
indutrial adhesive to glue novelty items to his face. As a result
Marge must take him to the doctor to have them removed, preventing
Lisa from attending an exhibit at the museum. Lisa uses her brain
to outwit her father into letting her take her first solo bus trip.
Everything would be okay, excet Lisa gets on the #22A bus instead
of the #22 and gets lost somewhere outside of town. [Aired May 10.
1998]
NATURAL BORN KISSERS When their anniversary dinner is a
flop and their love life seems to lack luster, they try to spice
it up. Homer and Marge seek to spice up their love life by traveling
to a bed & breakfast. Meanwhile, Lisa and Bart use Grampa's mine
detector to find treasure and they find an alternate to in Casablanca
Homer and Marge discover that the fear of getting caught is the
spice they need until they are caught bearing it all. [Aired May
17, 1998]
LARD OF THE DANCE Homer discovers that there is money to
be made selling used grease. Lisa tries to fit in when a new girl
comes to school and becomes very popular. [Aired August 23, 1998]
