#ctfanfic is a Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channel. This is a real time chat room where several people can talk simultaneously. Experts on Squaresoft RPGs, and more specifically excellent fanfic writers assist here. This is also the meeting place for the elite writers group called The Legion of Fantasy.
Channels, or chat rooms, are individual places where the people connected there can talk among themselves just by typing in a window. Other options, like performing actions and private messages add to the fun.
Particularities of #ctfanfic
In the channel, we all knew each other and we are kind of friends, that's why we're not so open to outside people.
The discussion can be from practically everything, from the latest fanfic episodes, to the real time travel theories, to the Olympics. We may use topic from the games or from our fanfics so you should have some background into that.
Another thing, don't be surprised if a fight suddenly starts in. Even more, don't be surprised by ANYTHING. What I'm intending to say if that we're sometimes really nuts people and some things can look really senseless if you don't know us.
If you're already in there, feel free to start a private chat with anyone who doesn't seem to be very busy. Unlike other channels, we don't mind.
Members of #ctfanfic
The members of the channel are basically the main fanfic writers of IcyBrian's Chrono Trigger Fanfic. This is the page where we were originally posted and where our "serious" fanfic is.

How can you join #ctfanfic
Well, after the living hell that happened on the channel (Did you
read the #ctfanfic fanfic?) we are a
little paranoid about accepting new members, but still may join.
We hope you to know about the world of Chrono Trigger and the
fanfics on the page. You don't have to be an author, but if you
are you should join the fanfic page. Then, contact Saul so we can instruct
you.
System Requeriments
If you don't have a trustworthy IRC program, you'll need to
download one. Go to http://mirc.co.uk/get.html

If you got Windows 95, just download mirc531t.exe.
Within then contents of the file, are the generic instructions
for using it. If you want to go to a meeting, you need to e-mail
us first so we can give you instructions about the IRC network
and stuff like that, or even easier, contact me by the ICQ UIN
6303560 for online help at the meeting time.
You should also check IcyBrian's Legion of Fantasy page for more info.
