Zoisite was focused in trying to find a way to go back, when a thought popped in his mind. It was something that said like "I'm ugly, I'm a bore. That's why he is so distant...."

That's not me. From where did that come from? Can it be one of her thoughts? Why is she starting to feel so depressed? And why can I feel this? I never had mental powers. Neflyte is the one with those. Oh man, if what I'm feeling is true, Mercury is having a big mental break down. Her very soul is being affected. Her self-confidence is dissapearing. I've got to do something.

Without turning back, he took Mercury's hand. He could feel the surprise Mercury felt, and as immediatly her confidence started going up again. Her hand was tiny, his own covered it completely. It was cold, and very elegant. Warmth spread through his hand, arm, and reached his heart. When Mercury didn't push him away, he felt as happy as when he had first summoned his crystals.

They walked with their hands locked, but without looking at each other. As time passed, they both noticed that the stars weren't shining anymore, and an increasing light in the horizon told them that the night was leaving. The sunrise gave them new hope. They both were far more comfortable with the sunlight, and knew that by now, the Moon army would be searching for them.

They looked at each other, and saw as their eyes shone in happiness. Seeing that they had walked about four kilometers, Zoisite said: "Mercury, I think we can rest a while. We have moved a lot, and Ren won't find us for now."

"You are right Zoisite. Let's rest." They sat on the floor, trying to sit as comfortable as possible. "What kind of bush would this be? Let's see. Hey Mercury, look. They are strawberries. Are you hungry?"

"Sure. I haven't eaten since lunch."

"Here. These ones are good for eating. Try not to stain your Sailor Suit."

"Don't worry. When I change back, it cleans itself immediately. Magic things, you know?"

"A-ha. You know something? Now that you mention it, why do you think that since our powers don't work, why haven't your suit disappeared?"

"Well, I don't know if I'm right, but I remember that long ago, someone told us that our uniforms are Moon-magic-made."

"What do you mean?"

"You see, my powers are on ice, Venus' on love, Mars' on fire, and so on. Those powers belong to our home planets, so everytime we are on some other planet, their strength decrease. But, our suits are made of Moon magic. It's said they are related with the Empirium Silver Crystal. So, since that Crystal is the strongest energy in the universe, almost nothing would affect our transformations."

"There's my answer."

The conversation stopped, as they watched the sun rise. Suddenly, Mercury said: "It's funny you know."

"What?"

"I never thought I would be lost on a forest escaping of a madman, with one of Prince Endymion's guards. I wasn't even suppose to be a Senshi."

"Why?"

"Well, when I was little, I was a very quiet kid, didn't have many friends, and was always alone. My mother, Queen Mercury, thought that I hadn't inherited the Senshi power. All my friends had somehow demonstrated that they had it at early ages, about five or four years, but I was 11, and nothing magical could be sensed on me. I wasn't worried about it. I preferred being a normal kid, than one that had to fight evil. She had taken me to uncountable Healers, Wizards and Wisemen, but no one could tell her what was wrong with me. I remember it all started when Mercury was attacked by some sort of alien-boars. We were defending quite well, until some of them managed to enter the Royal Palace..."
