What in the world is RWPPC??

This newsletter started out as the "official literature" of the Ready Writers Pen Pal Club. Those of you who are new readers have asked me several times what on earth the RWPPC is or was. I discontinued the Club after a year or so because, frankly, it was hard to keep up and I was more interested in the newsletter anyway! =) If you still want a little more information on the old pen pals club, here's the old information on it!


Thank you for your interest in this group! The Ready Writers Pen-Pal Club is a non-profit organization, formed for the purpose of “the gathering together” of Christian girls! The Ready Writers Club is not a formal organization; instead, we lean towards a friendly sisters-in-Christ relationship of all members. Our club’s motto scripture is: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near.” -Hebrews 10:23-25 (N.A.S.), but our club’s name is taken from Psalm 45:1. Each member receives at least one (the number is determined by the member) pen-pal with similar interests to her own when she joins. If you wish to join this club, please fill out the enclosed questionnaire and send it to the address at the top of this page. Also, please be aware of the rules and qualifications of our club, which are listed on the other enclosed sheet of paper. The Ready Writers Pen-Pal Club is also affiliated with the Christian Girl Newsletter, which is a 10-page newsletter for Christian girls (obviously), contributed to by its’ readers and “published” bi-monthly. The Christian Girl’s motto is “The magazine that covers everything in a girl’s life --from a Christian perspective!”


Well that was that. (Remember this was an OLD letter and the club is no longer running. I don't want to start getting requests for membership! LOL) Just thought I'd quench everybody's curiosity there!
