Chingmy started her career in the late 80's making various appearances in films but did not explode onto the HK scene until the infamous Wong Jing took her under his wing. She was placed in various films always in a major role her sexuality unquestioned but never totally nude. (much to the despair of many fanboys, myself included). She was eventually romantically linked to Wong Jing.

Her big breakthrough was in the Wong Jing sexual farce "Naked Killer". A film that ran the gamut of sexual and violent scenes, and even had Chingmy in a steamy sex scene with Simon Yam (who is quite a sex symbol in his own right)

After her breakup with Wong Jing, her film output dropped dramatically. She has made only 2 films in the last 2 years. I really hope that she increases her output. I'm definitely jonesin' to see a new Chingmy film. (C'mon girl, get workin'!!)

She is to be married in the next year (1999) to a fashion designer in HK (he dresses her well) Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Please keep making films, you're one of my favorites!
