Fan fiction is basically a ficticious story that someone writes. They give the writers greater flexibility when it comes to manipulating the characters and situations. Most of the time, the fan fics do not conform to the actual story of the characters but are inspired by them.

Now you can tell your mom that most the time you spend on the Net is spent reading.

As of 2001, I strongly suggest that fan fic writers submit their work to [www.fanfiction.net]. Not only will others be able to read your work, you will also be able to get feedback.
