Magic Knights Rayearth is a manga series created by a group of four women artists called CLAMP. Actually there are two manga series of Magic Knight Rayearth, each with three books. It features three main characters: Hikaru Shidou (the red-haired one), Umi Ryuuzaki (the blue-haired one), and Fuu Hououji (the one with blonde hair). Magic Knights Rayearth is basically about these three girls getting summoned into a magical world called Cephiro and the stuffs that happen there. There's a lot of action and inspirational-type stuffs (particularly the "girl power" theme...as in..."shoujo" and "ganban" are stuck together like glue), and comparitively little romantic stuff, but the art is really fantastic (love CLAMP) and the storyline is really, really good.
