This is a one of the cheapest comic stores in town. It is situated next to Colombo Court, opposite Funan Centre. This store sells original Taiwanese version of all comics. All comics are given a 20% discount. No membership is needed. Maison Ikkoku manga can be bought at S$10.40 per copy. Cheapest I've found so far. However books sometimes are faulty. There are either dented/dirtied covers or ink smudges. For best goods here, order in bulk and collect it immediately when the new shipment arrives.
This is a new comic store that has caught my eye. It sells other things including stationery, collector cards, keychains, VCDs etc. Maison Ikkoku, the Manga cannot be found but there are other works of Takahashi Sensei. Perhaps you can try ordering the original Maison Comics. They do ordering for some products there.
This is a Japanese Bookstore in Singapore and has a large collection of Japanese Mangas. Perhaps the only way to get the original Japanese Maison Ikkoku Manga is through ordering from this bookstore. I have yet to try. Maybe you should if you are really interested.
This is a video rental shop. The animated series of Maison Ikkoku can be rented here at S$3 - S$5. The series is NOT dubbed but there are Chinese subtitles included.
This place has almost everything from games to posters to Anime CD Soundtracks. Maison Ikkoku soundtracks can be bought here at S$18.90 a piece. These are however in Taiwanese pressing. The sound is still pretty good though.
This was perhaps the only place in Singapore where one could find all Japanese Related CDs or LDs. Prices were VERY STEEP!!! Still, it was the only place where the MI CD Box Set could be ordered. Anyone one who knoes where this place went please inform me.
Good place to try for MI or other anime soundtracks. I'm not sure if they do oreders but one thing is for sure........the prices are DAMM STEEP!!!
Well, I don't know how to help you guys. But apparantly, Vidz produce the English version of this Manga in the Western Countries. Do check out any Japanese CD stores in your neighbourhood for the soundtracks. Books Kinokuniya seems quite famous abroad too.
