Evan enjoyed the snow we had in November.
Watching one of our favorite videos. (Good habits start early.)
Today was a little holiday party at school. I was hoping to join them in the middle of their party, but as luck would have it, nap time started a little late so I got there just as nap was ending. Evan met me at the door with a little "bed head" look. (The girl sleeping in the background, never woke up for the entire party.) They had cookies and frappes.

Here's Evan with two of his school buddies.

General year end news:

We have had a pretty good year. Chris got a promotion at work. Both he and I are singing in some chorus or other. And of course, Evan is a constant source of amazement. Other than occasionally being fairly childish, he's a pretty good human being. (And he's still got a few years to shed the childishness.)

He's been talking for a little while now, both with a few words we understand and many more that we don't. His vocabulary is growing daily.

His latest accomplishment is jumping. Last week, he finally figured out how to get both feet off the ground. Before that Evan would bend his knees and push up without his feet leaving the ground. I can't quite analyze what he's doing, but he still needs to work on his timing. Most people jump by bending their knees, pushing up with their legs then their feet leave the ground. His jump doesn't look like that yet.

Thanks to all our friends and family for their love and support. I am constantly amazed and grateful for the number of high quality people in our lives. (Yes, this means you.) We love you and wish you all a great new year.
