Claudio Chiavazza has got diplomas in Choral Music, Choir Conducting and Clarinet at the Conservatory of Turin, where he works. After his studies with Sergio Pasteris he has specialized in the field of choir conducting under the guide of Zecchi, Corti, Acciai and successively of Peter Erdei at the “Kodaly Institute” in Kecskemet ( Hungary ). He was the founder of the first centre for the studies about musical didactic entitled to Roberto Goitre and presently he works as a teacher, player and conductor of the Corale Polifonica of Sommariva Bosco, of the Coro Filarmonico R. Maghini of Turin and of the choral-instrumental group Gli Affetti Musicali. He is also the artistic director of many manifestations, such as “L'Occhio in Ascolto”, and the “Incontri Corali”. |
