This page is dedicated to Charitable Organizations in South India that we have tried to associate ourselves with. As an initial step we include information on two Charitable Trusts, namely, Jeevan Gnanodhaya Charitable Trust and Vishranthi Charitable Trust.
Later, we have added information about Rajiv Gandhi Home for the Handicapped on 18 February, 2002 and VAYU Trust on December 30, 2005.

The trust was started by the founder Mr. L. Devarajan, with the vision of social responsibility towards handicapped rural children. Devarajan overcame big obstacles and some heartless souls to start this trust. It recently celebrated the 12th Annual Day of its School for the Deaf & Mentally Retarded. It is located in Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu, India. Chengalpattu is about 70 kilometers south of Chennai (Madras). The trust has been able to provide this charitable service to many children and the number has risen to more than 150. Moreover, many institutes have been started from 2004. An Industrial training institute for hearing impaired and a primary school for village children have blossomed in past 5 years. They educate about 35 students in ITI and above 200 children in the primary school.Know more about this trust & school.

This trust has its main office in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and its Home for the Aged Destitute Women in Palavakkam, a suburb of Chennai. The trust is mainly involved in running this home. They are also attempting to provide education to poor girls using the funds of the trust.The members of the trust are also actively involved in helping other Charitable Organizations. They are trying to bring other hitherto unknown Trusts to the forefront. Such trusts have been suffering from lack of funds, which are being highlighted - a very noble venture and a unique vision of the members of this trust.
Started by a lady with disability, Ms. Kavitha, this home in Pondicherry is dedicated to Girls with disabilities. The personal experience spurred Ms. Kavitha to use her own learnings, which was in a Home for Handicapped for 15 years. She has in turn utilized the knowledge gained in opening a Home of her own to provide similar facilities to orphan / deserted girls.Know more about Rajiv Gandhi Home for the Handicapped.
This trust has been started with a noble cause of making villages self-sufficient in all aspects, by taking industrialization to the villages and reforming the methods of agriculture. VAYU is dedicated to develop every village as a self-sustaining, nature-friendly, economic unit.
