Spirit/Star Stones

All the stones mentioned here are in my collection.  Most of this information is material I've found on the web.  As I can limber up my typing fingers I'll replace it with my own notes from my book of shadows.(denoted by italic boldface type)

AMETHYST (purple quartz) is a carrier of the purple ray. It focuses one's attention on the upper chakras (throat, third eye, and crown) and brings into awareness matters of spirit. Amethyst helps to align all aspects of one's being (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) and assists with opening communication between these aspects.

FLUORITE (purple), a soft, brittle stone, ranges in color from lavender to deep purple and is often banded. Because of it strength and ability to interrupt patterns and initiate change it generally should not be worn alone as it effects could be unbalancing. It is effective for breaking up stubborn physical conditions that are not responding to other therapies. This stone works with the purple ray.

QUARTZ (CLEAR) helps one to attain balance on every level and to attract a greater flow of life force for one's self as well as the planet. It aids in attracting other color rays as well as assisting with grounding, focus, clarity, and awareness. The frosted variety of Quartz is more balanced for most wearers than the clear variety.
