I tried placing these stones on chakras to balance, align or heal and I wasn't able to make it work. If that approach interests you there are wonderful books on the market that go into it in depth. One technique that has worked for me is to make my own gem elixers (basic kitchen witchery). I combine stones that seem to have the right properties, place them in water and either boil them or let the sun or moon charge the brew, add a little alcohol as a perservative and then take the mixture 4 times a day.
