We went over to a quarterly meeting held in the new church at |
Miltons. Glockners folks. Mrs. Monkern, Will & Mary, |
Mother, Manda Check & I. We had a good time. Saw Lizzie |
Hurt. Had not seen her since Feb. last. "My little girl" looked |
so very nice I am more in love with her every day, but I fear |
that it is not the same with her. |

Mrs. Shull died at 10 o'clock today. The boys found her dead |
or almost so when they came home from work the night |
before and she never revived. It was so sudden, they all feel |
awful over it and they were all baptized and promised at their |
Mother's coffin to lead a different life. How uncertain life is! |

One year ago today I started for Farm Island Lake. I did not |
think then that I would be back here again within a year. |
Neither would I if it had not been for the Mother and the "little |
girl". |

Sister Mary started for Barnesville to live. Will get a job there. |
So the last of our sisters has gone for herself. No one but us |
boys with Mother now. I hope they will get along all right and |
be happy. |
