The poem for the month of January 2004 comes from an illustrated anthology for children. Home (Harper Trophy, 1992) is a collaboration of thirty distringuished authors and illustrators with proceeds going to assist the homeless. Home, edited by Michael Rosen, includes selections written by Jon Scieszka, Lucille Clifton, with illustrations from Aliki, Vladimir Radunsky and many other talented individuals. This particular poem is the request of a frequent visitor to yarngal's yard.She likes to "rap" this poem.
