This site is dedicated to all who have lost their lives to abuse.
A staggering statistic is that in the years 1954 to 1979, the years we spent in the Vietnam War, 59,000 men and women were killed in the war. In that same time period, 53,000 women were killed by someone who said they loved them.
I have worked in the field of Domestic Violence and add here that not only do we have to get out of the abuse, we must recognize that years later we and our children may still have issues. Look for local Survivor's Resources in your area.
Much of the poetry here distinctly reflects domestic abuse issues. As I find sources of value to women in need, I will continue to integrate the information within these pages to provide assistance.
