What are the Dances of Universal Peace???

The Dances are simple meditative, joyous circle dances that honor many of the world's religious traditions. Based on the work of Samuel L. Lewis begun in the sixties, they are intended to promote peace worldwide. You need not "know how", you only need to be there. Just Google Dances of Universal Peace to learn more and find out about Dances in your area.

The space which will be presented here will continue to serve the cause of Domestic Abuse. It will also still have all of the poetry which was originally presented.

For poetry and other areas of interest as they relate to me and this web page, click on the links below. Those who have visited before will recall this as "Yia's Sanctuary". And indeed, I am still "Yia" to my grandson. On February 11, 2001, I legally became Karima, a name given to me by my wonderful mentor/teacher Radha Tereska. So, interespersed here you may see the name Yia. Don't let it make you think you are in the wrong place. You are not!!
