Remember the movie several years back? (checking The Internet Movie Database...) 1991, Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth Perkins ... two journalists working in the same office, with differing opinions on things?
I confess, I never saw the whole movie, just snippets here and there when it was on cable; but it popped into mind when Jev started doing the journal thing too. We're journalers and not journalists (in the usual sense of the word), and we're not usually in the same office. And I haven't really noticed a lot of us giving differing opinions on the same happening. I wonder if that will change, soon.
As of Sunday evening, Jev and I will be spending four weeks together, and probably even posting our journals from the same computer. *chuckle* I think it will be interesting to see how we view the events of the day, when we get to do things together.
From the looks of things, we'll have at least two different road trips, hopefully three, and since he won't have to be working, we'll have a lot of time to spend together, talking about things, going places, and just plain having fun.
Okay, enough babbling about silly things that cross my mind. ;) I managed to go through my closet last night and pull out the clothes I want to take with me. This morning I got out my suitcases, and filled the larger one up with clothes. I have a great big list of other things I want to take -- Jev helped me some with that last night -- so I have a lot more packing and "getting together" to do, but I'm feeling rather slow and lazy right now. Maybe if I do a little bit here and a little bit there, it won't seem like such a huge and overwhelming job.
One of Jev's school friends just dropped me an ICQ message, saying he'd been on earlier, so I guess I probably won't catch him until this evening. And maybe, just maybe, I should hop offline and try to get a few things done. I'm going to post this, and drop Jev a message letting him know it's up, and we'll see just how much I can accomplish today. Type to you later....

Jev's online now (I did miss him this morning), and we've been talking off and on, watching skating (Stars on Ice, which is going to be in Roanoke next Sunday *pout*), and he's working on adding a few things to his journal. And so I thought I'd do the same.
It seems the company that wants him to come for an interview next week is going to book us a room and pay him mileage for driving.. and find me something to do (?) during the interview. I'm not quite sure what they meant by that, but I'd be happy with a quiet place to do some stitching or reading. I'm easy to please.
