Happy Valentine's Day

February 14, 1998

Today was not the day I had hoped it might be. It started out rather badly, and in fact I wrote another entry which I did not post and eventually deleted from my drive. It just wasn't the kind of thing that belonged on a Valentine's Day page. I was wanting Jevim's attention and for various reasons wasn't getting it and got quite upset about the whole thing.

After getting things out in the deleted entry, a good cry and a long nap, we met back up online this evening and played backgammon while I watched the Men's Long Program skating in Nagano. I was telling him what was going on, and relaying the scores when I could catch them, and we both had a nice time and are now talking about going to the 2002 winter olympics in Salt Lake City... if I can find clothes that are warm enough. *smile*

I mailed Jevim's package to him on Wednesday, and he got a package pick up notice on Friday, but not early enough to get it... I'm not sure if it was my package or not, knowing how slow the VT mail system can be, but either way, he didn't get it in time for today. He had let Valentine's Day sneak up on me, and only bought my gift last night, so I didn't have mine either. All I really wanted was to spend some time with him, and that I did get tonight, so I'm happy now... happy as can be when I can't be curled up in bed with him while he reads (he just went off to lay down and read before going to sleep).

He did reserve his plane tickets for Spring Break though, so three weeks from tonight, we'll be together. Don't know what we'll be doing, but I'll be with him, so you may not hear from me much for about a week. Hope you don't mind. *wink*

Anyway, I will keep this entry "short and sweet", since I need to go customize the graphics and fiddle with things in Frontier a bit before I can post this and my entry from the 12th (which I seem to think I haven't posted yet).
