Honestly, it doesn't feel very Mondayish to me. Not that I'm complaining or anything, it's been quite enjoyable! So what if it's been snowing all day and we haven't set foot outside?
Jev and I woke up around nine, and we spent the morning catching up on e-mail and fiddling a bit with Frontier. Then we went down to the living room where we stitched until suppertime, listening to CDs and just relaxing. Now we've had dinner, and once Jev brings up the clean laundry, we'll work on our Civ II game a while. I wonder if he wanted to watch the Fiesta Bowl; I think he's forgotten about that...
Anyway, we should have an enjoyable evening, and another night curled up beside each other. It's hard to believe I've been here two weeks now; the time is going by so fast. But sooner than we'd like, I'll be heading back to Misery, and Jev will go back to school for four more months. Then all the time apart will finally be over, for good. It'll be so nice!
I wonder if Jev could be convinced to spend Christmas and the New Year in California some time. I've really missed working on the Rose parade floats, and seeing the parade. It really surprised me that only one channel shows it in these parts of the country. Back in California, I was used to it being on every local channel, and sometimes in stereo simulcast, and even in 3-D a year or two. I mean, it's the thing on New Year's Morning... and midday, and evening...
Yes, I'd love to work on decorating the floats again, and I'm even crazy enough to want to get up at 4 AM to go to the parade in person. I'm just a California Nut!
