The past week or so of going through photographs and scrapbooks has prompted some really tough entries to write. Yesterday I took a break completely, and today I was tempted to do the same, but I decided to have a little fun, instead.
Journal-L, a mailing list for the journal community, seems to have spawned a round-robin story in the past few days, that has been dubbed The Zodiac Affair. It's been an entertaining read, and I've been yearning to join in, but I always feel like I'm out on the edge of things and like I'd be bargeing in if I tried to participate in something that mainly involved the 'inner circle,' or at least what I think of as the inner circle.
I wasn't going to do it, but today the writing bug struck and I let it run away with me. It was pretty fun, and even though I was a little nervous sending it off (especially with a spider lurking directly over my computer area), it seems to have gone over well, and someone took up from where I left off, which makes me feel good.
All this blathering about it isn't letting you share in on the fun though, so I'm just going to point you to the story, and if you'd like to go read it, by all means do! Hopefully tomorrow I'll have another entry for you about myself.
