The condition of the world today upsets me greatly, with special focus on the condition of our very own country! Each and every day I am saddened more and more at the lack of compassion for each other and the lack of morality. How can we treat others the way we do?! How can we teach our children to hate and despise others we don't even know?! How can we allow our children to be going hungry?! How can we abuse our own bodies with alcohol and drugs?! And how can we abuse the ones we profess to "love and cherish"?!

I ask myself these questions many times a day.
