pregnancy: gestational diabetes
If there were problems, how were you able to successfully
conceive? After 1 1/2 years of
secondary infertility, dh was finally persuaded to have surgery
to repair his varicoceles. Five months
after the surgery, we found ourselves (unexpectedly) pregnant.

If there were problems, how were you able to successfully
conceive?:1st pregnancy, after
trying for about year and half. When we decided to go to a
fertility doctor, got pg 1 week before
appt. and didn't even know it. Was at 8 weeks when found out.
Fertility doc would not treat me
because of my diabetes and said I was probably not fertile
because of high blood sugar #s. Went on
insulin. Maintaining #s w/effort and care. Hoping for a healthy,
successful pregnancy..

conceive?:Had difficulty conceiving
this pregnancy. 4 losses at least and 3.5 years between starting
to try and conception. . .1 cylce
clomid, 50mg, 5-9.

with nurse-midwife,
working on labor assistant, but thinking of using a personal
friend rather than a hired assistant.
Other: plan to do a modified attachment parenting. . .breastfeed.
. .sleep when the baby sleeps:^). .
.watch a lot of Rowan Atkinson in the mean time.
