Rape and Sexual Assault |
This page is devoted to fact sheets I have collected on domestic violence. I personally have not experienced domestic violence first hand, but I have had many friends who have. Most realize that they are being abused, but are too afraid to get away. If you or anyone you know is a victim of domestic violence, do try your best to help them. You can find information here on how to confront that person. Remember however that your first priority is to keep yourself safe. Abusers are very unpredictable, and will do just about anything to maintain their control. - Domestic Violence Resources Myths surrounding domestic violence Why She Stays, When She Goes (under construction) What Keeps an Abuser From Battering?
