Welcome in to read about the causes that I want to address; spamming and scams online. This is something that concerns every single person who has an e-mail account or ever gets involved with strangers in any way on the internet. ICQ, chat, and webrings are just a few examples of the types of involvement online where you risk exposing yourself to scammers and spammers. Scamming especially is a very serious business. It is all too easy to feel safe, sitting at home by the computer, while chatting away with complete strangers. Especially when you are new online. So I have decided to add these pages in hope that they will help spread awareness about scamming and help in the fight against spam.
