(On a headstone which is lying flat in an aisle inside the church.)
Here lies the Body of Hugh
the son of Richard and
Christian Henwood of this parish
who was buried the 16th day of
April in the Year of our Lord 1774 Aged 30.
Beneath this Tomb my Body Moldring lies
My soul I hope in peace doth rest with Christ
He to his care did take me in my Youth
To Reign where Angels loud proclaim the Truth
Whilst here on Earth with pains I was Opprest
But now I'm free and have eternal rest
With Patience to the last I did Submit
And murmured not at what the Lord thought fit
