Guestbook
I was born in the late 60's so when I was old enough to understand a little about movies, music and tv it was in the late 70's. Yes, I enjoyed disco, wore polyester and went to my first concert with my Girl Scout Troup. We saw Leif Garrett and I was in love. I had a life size poster of him next to my bed. From there I proceded to cover my walls with posters of various 'hunks' from the pages of Tiger Beat and Teen Beat. During this decade, my favorite movie of all times came out, Star Wars. I read the books, memorized the lines, was characters for Halloween (a Jawa and Princess Leia) and joined with my friends to perform the trach compactor scene for the school talent show. My other favorite movies at this time were JAWS and the Sound of Music. Amoung my favorite TV shows were The Brady Bunch, Happy Days and the Donny & Marie Show. Of course, Greg Brady was just the coolest. He is still dreamy after all these years. I met him (Barry Williams) after a performance of the Sound of Music where he plays Captain VonTrapp.

I started the next decade with middle school and puberty in full force. Then, of course high school and the beginning of college. I was a real 'Child of the 80's'. Always changing and swinging with the trends. When I was with my beach bum friends, we boogie boarded, ate fries at the pier and tried to surf. All the while, I was trying to achieve the ultimate tan. I wore VANS and surfer shirts. When I was with my redneck friends, we listened to Charlie Daniels and Alabama. I even rode a few horses. I prepped out for a little while and wore my turned up collars on my polo shirts. I attempted to be a little punk, but my parents kinda squashed that movement after my purple tinted and partially shaved hair. Yes, I had a tail. Of course, during this whole time, I was a definate band geek. I loved listening to Chuck Mangione, Chicago and classical music, especially the 1812 Overture. What my friends most remember me for was that beautiful 'Valley Girl' phase. I wore ties, boots, layers of jewerly, BIG hair, mini-skirts and said 'like' and 'fer sure' every 2 seconds.

I had a 'Noid Mobile' for a car, would break into 'I know you are but what am I', dress like Freddy Krugar to see each new Nightmare on Elm Street, vowed to go to the big Prince concert on the New Year's Eve of 1999, skipped class to see Luke and Laura get married and I saw the Challenger disaster right after exams while sitting in McDonalds with my best friend. I loved Grease, Pretty in Pink, the Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

As we get and leave the 90's. We are a bit more mature...NOT! I'm into musicals (Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables...), Letterman, Friends, Drew Carey, and ER. 'Something About Mary' I find extremely entertaining. I am still watching my ABC soaps whenever I get the chance. All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital have been watched ever since I can remember. Speaking of All My Children,

YEAH, SUSAN LUCCI!!!!

She finally got her Daytime Emmy Award! Growing up, I hated dolls. I only had one that I didn't destroy was named Erica.

Last but not least, I have My LIST. All you 'Friends' fan will understand. These are not in any particular order and my husband has a list, too.

Ben Affleck, Steve Burton, Brad Little, Dan Marino, Cameron Mathison, Andrew McCarthy, Matthew McConaughey, Ewan McGregor and John Travolta.
