Odds and Anchors Welcome Alumna Initiate! At Founders Day, we welcomed Jean Boyden into our chapter as our latest Alumna Initiate. A group of Delta Gammas who play tennis weekly have talked about their Delta Gamma activities with such enthusiasm, other women have wanted to be Delta Gammas! If you know someone who attended a four-year college but never pledged a sorority, who has the qualities of a Delta Gamma, she may be recommended for membership. Jean has completed her pledge training with Peggy Bransdorfer, and has selected Xi, University of Michigan, as her chapter of initiation. She will go through initiation with the fall pledges from Xi. Welcome Jean! GR DGs in the News! Deb Mankhoff is the new President of the board of directors for the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (UICA). Judy Palmer is the new Director of the Grand Forum with Grand Valley State University. Volunteer Opportunities Volunteers are still needed!!! Welcome Home for the Blind and Vision Enrichment Services are always in need of volunteers. Contact Welcome for the Blind at 363-9088 and Vision Enrichment Services at 458-1187.
