Get your teacher to help you to:

    1. Start your computer
    2. Open the browser (by double-clicking on the icon)
    3. Open the "Learning About Using the Internet" web page by typing the following URL in the Address or Location field and then pressing Enter:
      people.freenet.de/mvhs-english/beginner.html

This URL, like all addresses for Web Pages starts with http:// (the http tells the browser that it is a web page) but because looking at web pages is the most common use for a browser, you don't need to type that part into most browsers.

After reading the "Learning About Using the Internet" page, can you match any more of the terms and definitions above? How many more? _________

Now try practising the words with an online game. Get your teacher to help you to type in the following URL:

    www.quia.com/jg/51852.html

Click on one of the game types and see how you do.

Now try these tasks either alone or with your partner. If you have problems, ask the teacher.

    1. Click on the Back (Zurück) button until the Learning About Using the Internet web page is shown again.
