The reason for
starting this website is this next project. I started it to support the R.S.P.C.A. Harmsworth
Memorial (animal) Hospital.
Since a couple of months I can convert pictures, drawings, etc into embroidery-patterns. I do this with the computer, not by hand like I used to do. Now you can see the first endresult: a wonderful embroidered wedding-picture. See if you like it as much as I do: Endresult. A short explanation of what you can expect: * Every size picture can be used up to a size A4. * A picture can be altered, like red-eyes or if you want to see something in the background disappear, etc., It takes a bit of work, so there is an extra charge. * You can have the background in just one colour. * Do you want a pattern of only a part of the picture? no problem. * The pattern can be done in 4 different designs: black-white symbols/ coloured blocks / coloured symbols / a combination of coloured blocks + symbols. With patterns of pictures I would prefer #4. * You can have the colourchart of DMC of Anker depending on what you prefer to work with. * The size of the finish picture depends on the material you want to use and the number of stitches. But remember: There is maximum of 300 x 300 stitches ! * The pattern will be kept on file for several months. If the original would be damaged or lost, you can order another copy for less that the price of the first one. * As soon as someone orders a pattern, I'll start working on it within days. * A pattern can be custom-made, even if you would like things, like a black&white or sepia-coloured design. * The price is ƒ 40,00, about £ 14 depending on the currency. * I will return your picture with the pattern. We might try to do this by e-mail. Seems like a nice experiment ! Are you interested ? Why not send me a message by email and I will send you all you need to know, in case I forgot something on this page, by e-mail or by regular mail. |
Here as an example a donkey from Weston-super-Mare. The money raised from this work will go to the animal-hospital in London. Until now this work has raised about £ 75. |
