Let me tell you a little about myself. I live in the Netherlands. I am studying to become a translator Dutch-English, but used to be a schoolteacher who specialized in and teaches crafts like knitting and embroidery, etc. I like designing patterns and do this for other people too. Recently I started turning pictures into patterns for embroidery, by computer.
My animals and animal-welfare rank very high on my prioritylist. I have my own little "sanctuary"and take care of several animals, which needed a good home. I support several animalwelfare-causes. But one in particular is very close to my heart: The R.S.P.C.A. Harmsworth Memorial (animal) Hospital in North London. These people are very special to me and I try to use my creativity to support them.
Music is something I wouldn't like to miss. The name of my homepage comes from Marie Osmond ("In my little corner of the world"). Yes, I was one of "those" Osmond-fans. But I'm more into country music these days.
And then there is my holiday-destination: Beautiful Great-Britain
You can tell from this background that I'm an Aquarius in every possible way. It seems that Aquarians can't sit back and relax very well, so this website will change every once in a while. I hope this will keep bringing you back here. And who knows, you might even be able to help me raise funds for this animal hospital. Now that would be great !!!
For quite some time I have been interested in spirituality. But it has started to play a much bigger role in my life ever since the Age of Aquarius started.
