Some
years ago, knitting was very much a fashion. No matter where you looked,
ladies were knitting, on the train, at the hairdresser's, everywhere.
Unfortunately that is something of the past. Which also means, that
there are less shops that sell the materials. And this means, less
choice for those ladies, who gid not give it up. It's said to be
old fashioned, oh well, we can't all think alike, can we ?
On this page you can see jumpers, that I designed myself. That's what I like doing most. And the more difficult it is, the more fun it is for me. The pictures will change every once in a while, because I have done this for many years now, including for other people, so I have several pictures. If you would like advice on knitting, just send me an email. According to my mother, I could knit when I was only 4. But at the moment I have to take it easy, because of an injury to my shoulder. When you click on the picture, you can see an enlargement. Click on the large picture and you're back here. |

The picture of Tin Tin and Snowy (hey, there was a Snowy at the Harmsworth, remember?) that I used to create the pattern, was even smaller than the picture that you see here. Do they look like the actual characters? |

And how about Neil Diamond ? I used mohair, which made it look almost like real hair. The boss ("Neil" himself), seemed to like it ! When the friend, to whom I gave this jumper as a birthday present, met Neil diamond in a tv-studio ("I'm going to wear the jumper, no matter how hot it will be inside") the reaction was a grin and "Nice !" They made my day ! |
