Kent is very beautiful, especially in spring.
It is famous for its beautiful gardens, hence the name "garden of England". A lot of Dutch holidaymakers visit Kent for this reason only.

Here you see another famous attraction: the oasthouses that you can spot all over the county. Here they would dry the hop that was used to brew beer.

This cottage can be rented all year round. It is situated in Pluckley near Ashford, by car only about 30 minutes from the Eurotunnel or the ferry. cottage in Pluckley

The cottage is equipped to the highest standard, with fitted oak kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, etc. In the lounge is a colour t.v., a video with a selection of films. There is a phone in the hall, plus all linen and towels are provided for your convenience.
It can accommodate up to 4 people with 1 twin and 1 double bedroom.
There are fitted carpets throughout and the price include all electricity and central heating as required.

The cottage is detached with your own garden and garden furniture. There is also a B.B.Q. for your own use.


The cottage is ideally situated in the heart of Kent in a village made famous by the series The Darling Buds of May, which was filmed here. There are many National Trust Castles and houses nearby and a day to London or France are also very easily accessible. The cottage is only about a 10 minute walk from Pluckley Station, from where you have a direct connection to London.

The Black Horse



The local pub "The Rose and Crown" has won an award for the best food in England, plus there is "the Dering Arms" which specializes in locally caught seafood and that is within staggering distance of the cottage. And in the village of Pluckley you can find "the Black Horse", the most haunted pub in England.
