Welcome to The View From The Seat. This is a site to air my views on certain things in life. Of course, if I keep updating this site for the next twenty years, you’d probably know my views about everything. &=)> tm. This would be my so-called soapbox and would definitely be open to scrutiny and criticism — as well as praises, I hope. I’ve accepted that possibility, as I have accepted the fact that nobody would agree with me every single time I express my opinion.

The site basically germinated from too much thinking on my part. Things would bother me or excite me. Sometimes things even bore me. Whatever they may be, they elicit a response that I usually make known to my friends. And since some of my friends are on the Internet, I thought, well, might as well tell them too.

The View From The Seat is not meant as an advice site — though, people tell me I do give good advice, and for free too! What it doles out is views that you can take or dismiss. It's something to guide you in your life at a particular moment. It’s not a new age thing nor does it lack any spiritual underpinnings. It is what it is, a stack full of my views of how to make life a better experience.

In case you’re wondering, the name is basically derived from the fact that I sometimes get my inspiration to write these kinda stuff from watching a movie. Hence, the view from the (movie) seat. That is also a theme that I’m trying to keep. Each "view" would be connected to a movie — somehow. That way, those who have seen the movie can relate to my opinion or how I got there from watching it. It also acts as a testimony to how good or bad that movie was.

I do, however, realize that the site name and the first picture you saw might have produced a different idea for this site. Unfortunately for those seeking for a little thrill will not find those kind of views here. I'm not a paparazzi, waiting for some unsuspecting man to accidentally lose his swimming trunks and bend over just so I can take pictures.  I do believe those sites are up and running, however.

Well, enough of this introduction. I hope you enjoy your visit here. And I hope all of us learn something new each day about what makes our life worth living.
